I bid on and won an item on Shopgoodwill from the Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette location back on October 19th, 2024. I made payment for the item on October 27th, 2024, and was Very Excited about finally receiving my item.
could hardly wait! By November 7th, I Still had not received Any Shipping Info, so I reached out to them via the Contact Seller Ticket on the Item page. This was the FIRST Time I reached out. Their First Response was just their typical reply saying: we usually ship within 5 business days, but they were having issues with their so called shipping vendor, who apparently wasnt working with them anymore & were backed up.
They said they were trying to catch up & would get the item shipped out ASAP. They also said, hey, you might not see a tracking number uploaded, but please rest assured that were shipping it out. So, since they couldnt tell me ANYthing in regards to When it Would or May be shipped, I reached out to them again on November 11th. I just didnt feel comfortable with the Indefinite info I was given, I asked them on my Contact Seller Ticket: If you have no idea when you will ship the item, or if you can not at Least get it shipped out by the end of the week, Please Refund My Money!

Their Response on 11-14-24: We apologize for the error; there is currently an issue with our shipping system due to an outage with one of our vendors that is causing the status of orders and any associated tracking numbers to not be appropriately updated into ShopGoodwill. I Guess they must not Think that I Have records of this transaction, receipts AND ALL CORRESPONDENCE. To Date I have Not heard from Anyone From Shopgoodwill, OR their Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette Location.
Im currently looking for legal help to pursue this matter. THIS, Was BLATANT! THIS Was Done With Full Knowledge of What they Were Doing! Even to the Extent of trying to make it Look Like they Did Ship the Item-by moving it to the Shipped Orders section.

Football Jersey was represented as a Women's size Small.

I ordered a Women's size small Jersey what I received was a child's size small jersey. Only "Small" is labeled on it.
The Goodwill in Missouri would not take it back because they say it was on a women size mannequin. Well either they need a real-life size women's mannequin or the jersey I received is not the jersey on their mannequin.
It will stretch onto my women's dress form but note how short it is and how tight the head hole and sides are. Keep in mind this is supposed to be a football jersey.

I just paid for a lap and playstation 3 games today , when back to check the status it wont let me log in ! I was never informed that I couldn't have more than one account which doesnt make sense ?
As long as my items are paid there shouldn't be any restrictions on my accounts. If that's the case in this manner , it should be stated to everyone who visit your site can only have one or 2 accounts , Ive been a great customer of yours organization for years and never had a problem like what Im experiencing now , dont be so quick to judge , and take my funds and shut down my accounts , its not a crime to have 1 or more accounts that are getting funded , lastly not to long ago I won 2 items I tried to pay for with my Google Pay/Wallet account, you declined them , I reach out customer service on this , the issues never got resolved it when un answered the items I won never got paid for ! So if Im being restricted from bidding , then make sure I receive my items I recently won shipped to me in a timely matter as I've paid in a timely manner.
Also , recently I pick up item that wasnt what I won , informed the store , the right item was then shipped to me damaged ! So you see no one is perfect we all my mistakes , so lets fix this one.

New to shop goodwill online
Unaware of shipping costs. This information is not listed prior to a bid. There is no transparency. Put in a bid. Said I had placed an order. Kept pressing the cancel button repeatedly.
Emailed the seller and explained I made a mistake. Called the service representative.
Talked to Arham Siddiqui. Did as he directed. The number he told me to call only had message options. Didn't know what button to press. Emailed support.
Got to customer service on the goodwill online webpage. No luck there as well.
Called for service tech today. First connected up with Ken. He was unavailable. Waited and got connected with a gentleman who I could not understand. Sounded Indian.
Spoke very rapidly. I am 75; I don't hear as good as I once did. I don't do technical stuff very well. I apparently messed up in knowing how to bid or cancel.
All I want to do is void the transaction. I am on Medicare. The high shipping is prohibited.
The order number is 5516****. Corduroy fleece shirt, tan.

Shop Goodwill high prices putting resellers out of business
- - I bought jewelry on Shop Goodwill in 2024 and early 2025 to resell.
- - Starting prices for semi-precious pieces seem high, like $50 rings.
I bought a fair amount of jewelry on shop Goodwill in 2024 and earlier in 2025, hoping to re sell some. But now, September 2025, Shop Goodwill has gone insane with their starting prices on semi precious jewelry.
Silver rings with jasper, starting at $50? That is not a BIN but a starting point fo an auction. Vintage bracelet at $100? I went through TEN pages of jewelry today and don't think I saw ONE bid on anything!
What a waste of resources and a sad thing for resellers who can't touch this stuff. And the community DONATED these items so why are they ripping us all off?

Agreed. Shopgoodwill.com have unbelievably HIGH shipping prices and they ask WAY too much for most things that we're given to them.
The only way this will stop will be for most people to not buy from their local stores and from their online sites. Personally, i think Goodwill and Miracle Hill should both be looked into.
SOMEBODY is making a fortune from a "non-profit" thrift store. You open a building, get free stuff and sell it high and pay hardly no taxes if any and see where you wind up.
