Getting Rip Off for shipping cost

I just want to let you know to beware of your shipping cost I've ordered multiple things from Goodwill but I've noticed that there's a issue with their shipping they tend to add extra poundage to the weight of the item for shipping to jack up the price given example I purchase a drone that was 40 lb and weight total with the case and shipping materials they said the actual weight was 19 lb I won the item in a charge me $106 for shipping and weighed the item in as 100 lb shipping weight I then noticed that they had the same drone same case sold at different locations with the actual shipping weight at 40 lb which I attempted to get corrected from the original seller of the auction I won. So now I was unable to pay for the item so now I have a unpaid item on my account which shouldn't be my fault but you know if you get three or four unpaid items they close your counter lock your account I also brought it up to the sellers attention multiple times and was told that it was based off the box size not the weight and a dimensional weight or something like that so just be on the lookout and make sure that they're not overcharging you on the shipping

Please be aware of bidding manipulation. Currently theres a user by the name of M****d whose on like 95% of the gold bidding no matter the item, pushing the gold to or very close to spot prices mostly towards the end of bidding. This user doesnt get any sleep apparently because no matter what time youre on, this user is always available day or night, rain or snow, sleet or hail.

I have been buying from shop goodwill quite a bit for last six months, and I've had such a positive experience...from the items received to the assistance from the staff. My first time buying from them was about a year and a half ago...I stopped for a while...just had personal life to attend to. Once I picked back up over 6 months ago, I've been purchasing... literally weekly... probably not been a week that I didn't receive and order from them...and in reality...it would probably average to at least two to three packages a week. I have NO COMPLAINTS...so, I'll get to the point in saying...I find Shop Goodwill to be a great resource or if you're purchasing to resell...or if you're a for personal items. You can't beat the customer service...and I just feel completely comfortable in knowing that if I have a problem... I'm certain that there are specific employees I can reach out to who will go above and beyond to help me no matter what my need is. I couldn't appreciate the way I'm treated anymore than I already do...and like I said...the merchandise I have received has been top notch. I would like to name some particular people... representatives from particular states...but I don't feel comfortable doing so since I don't have their permission to give out names...of people or places...so, I'll just say what is true... All of the states...and ALL of the people I have dealt with...has been better than I could have ever hoped for. Thank everyone at Shop Goodwill...I appreciate each and every one of y'all! I

I sent the dress back at the end of February beginning of March at my own expense as you requested. I sent it with UPS IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX COVERED WITH BUBBLE WRAP AND PUT INTO A SPECIAL BOX, as not to damage the original box. I never received a shipping label nor did my daughter. You were telling me you sent me a shipping label in the end of April? I bought this dress in February and requested a shipping label in February. I spoke with customer service of goodwill. They tried several times to get a hold of the manager of the North Georgia store, because I wanted to know what the cost of the restocking would be? After they had told me to report it to my credit card company and send address back. I have never received an answer, nor have I gotten a return receipt or the dress back. I am asking to please be refunded for this dress, which I sent back to you check your warehouse. Im sure that it will turn up somewhere if someone there has not stolen it. Its a bit curious if this is the second time you have posted this dress and then sure it was sent back to you for the same reason that I sent it back to the front was all torn up and open. It was not the correct sizing as stated, and it was way too short. I would appreciate your attention to this matter I do not have. it any longer as I sent it back in February of March back to the store and my little sister has passed away and I have way too many things to handle right now. I would appreciate if you find a dress and credit me back. Thank you.

I was the only bidder in an item when suddenly, about an hour left, I get a notification that I was outbid. No big deal. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME when I am the only bidder. Then, after the sale is done, I'll see the exact same item listed for sale a week or two later. Maybe the winning bidder didn't pay? Could be. But EVERY SINGLE TIME?? This is more than a coincidence. Goodwill has to be bidding up their own auction lots trying to squeeze every dollar they can, hoping you increase your bid. Probably not illegal but definitely not ethical. I can guarantee you one thing...if you happen to be the only bidder on an item you WILL be outbid. On top of that, their shipping rates and handling fees are criminal. If you want a particular item, just find it elsewhere because your $7 item will easily turn into over $30 by the time it's done

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had to follow up several times with several people.

They have atrocious customer service.

I KNOW I never would have received my refund if I hadn't been a squeaky wheel. Stand up for yourself!

I can only add to the litany of complaints already noted on this website regarding ShopGoodwill.com. Buyer beware! For example, I have contacted ShopGoodwill.com "customer service" via email on now, FIVE occasions since the arrival of my order on October 3 of Emile Henry bowls and plates - hopelessly inadequately packed, stacks of ceramic bowls and plates with insufficient packing materials, all crammed in to a box too small resulting in, no surprise, plates and bowls chipped, cracked, smashed in to dozens of shards. For which I received the privilege of paying almost $40.00 for shipping. This is on top of receiving multiple shipments of ceramic tableware in similar condition - I could actually hear the pieces rattling in the shipping box when I picked up the shipment from my front porch. I am bringing this practice to the attention of the proper business guardians. Goodwill receives donations from individuals who are lured by thinking they are helping people in need, and then proceed to take advantage of shoppers who are sent broken orders and receive no attention to rectify the failing. You will be hearing from the appropriate authorities.

Shopgoodwill indicated that I had a previous account and had unpaid items so they banned me and also indicated that if I try again and they find out it's me they will ban me again. I reached back out and asked if somehow this could be rectify and awaiting for a response. I have about 20 active bids that they will shut down and then possibly indicate that I failed to pay on those that I won yesterday and over the next 5 days watch your history.
